Creative Botanic Art workshop with Aunty Ros!
Join Aunty Ros (Ros Cameron) for a fun, hands on art session inspired by stories, culture and nature. Aunty Ros is a Northern and Eastern Arrernte woman, and lives in the Adelaide Hills, who will guide you in creating beautiful botanical artworks on canvas.
Together, we’ll explore how art and storytelling have been used for generations to share knowledge about Country, nature and culture. Aunty Ros will guide you step by step as you create your own artwork to take home.
What you’ll do:
- Listen to stories and learn about culture and Country
- Discover native plants and why they’re important
- Paint your own botanical artwork on canvas
- Have fun, be creative, and try something new!
Bookings are essential - 1 ticket per child
This session is delivered as part of the 'All In' Reconciliation Science School Holiday Program and is suitable for children aged 7-12 years. Parental or guardian supervision is required for all children under 12 years of age.
