Join this fin-tastic opportunity to learn how to do fish printing (Gyotaku) and about some exciting fish in the museum’s collection!
Led by recent SCA Graduate Alexandra, participants will create their own fish or sea creature prints and learn the methods of Gyotaku. Gyotaku is a Japanese method of fish printing using ink and rice paper, used as a way to record the fish caught before photography.
This workshop will also include special insight into the fish and sea creatures in the museum collection by our Natural History Curator, Dr Tony Gill. What a great oppor-tuna-ty!
This workshop is suitable for ages 10+
Kids bring your grown-ups – they attend for free!
