How does a moth navigate by the stars?
Take a closer look at the extraordinary world of Bogong Moths with Ayesha Kelly from Invertebrates Australia. Hear about their remarkable migrations, their ability to navigate using the stars and the Earth’s magnetic field, and the challenges they face.
Then discover how you can get involved. Alison Mellor, Project Co-lead of Bug Hunt with Invertebrates Australia, will introduce the Bug Hunt project and show how citizen science and recording sightings through iNaturalist can help improve our understanding of Australia’s incredible invertebrates.
Come along, get curious and discover why there’s much more to the humble moth than meets the eye!
