AfroMbollo returns for a powerful night of Afro-fusion — presented as a special double bill performance.
The evening features a full set from AfroMbollo, led by internationally respected Senegalese musician and cultural ambassador Yacou Mbaye. Rooted in the West African griot tradition, the band blends Afrobeat, mbalax, jazz, funk, and reggae into an electrifying, rhythm-driven live experience.
Featuring Kween G, bringing hip hop and spoken word into the mix, this is a dynamic meeting of traditional and contemporary sounds.
Plus special guests Pape Mbaye, whose repertoire draws on traditional Senegalese mbalax, Afrobeat, Afro-jazz, and reggae, grounded in rich polyrhythmic drumming and deep cultural heritage.
Featuring Patricia Alvarez (keys), Any Morris (bass), and a lineup of exceptional musicians, the collective delivers a rich, dynamic sound grounded in deep musical tradition and contemporary energy.
“Mbollo” means “come together” — and this double bill is a celebration of rhythm, storytelling, and community.
Enjoy the full Lazybones experience with global beers and wines, cocktails, premium spirits, and a late-night kitchen serving pizzas (GF & vegan available) and share plates.
