Welcome to Art Club at Empower Creat Thrive!

Art Club is a monthly event for developing your creativity. It’s for anyone aged 10–17 who enjoys art, crafting and making wearable art in a range of mediums. Come, be social and be inspired by other creative people

Whether it’s painting, sewing, beading, weaving, or jewellery making, each session is kept to small group sizes to ensure all participants feel supported and have loads of fun.

Empower Create Thrive is founded and facilitated by Behaviour Specialist, Educator, and Artist Jessica Wayland. Her expertise and passion in multimodal art, resilience, self‑esteem, and emotional regulation come together to provide creative experiences grounded in evidence‑based wellbeing practices.

What to Expect at the Next Event

Next event we are making

Wearable Charms

• Participants can create bag and/or phone charms that represent their unique selves. Materials include pom‑pom making supplies and a range of charms, clasps, beads, and finishes to personalise their designs.

Basket Weaving

• Participants will learn weaving techniques to create their own basket. Experiment with materials, patterns, and weaving styles.

Flower Seed‑Bead Jewellery

• Participants will create their own flower necklace and learn techniques for forming flower shapes using seed beads. Play with colours and patterns to design something unique and personal.

The only limitation is time — participants can focus on one project or try all three during the session.
