Looking to meet other queer people in a relaxed, friendly setting?

Join us on The Deck at Welcome to Thornbury, where we'll warm up with speed friending rounds in small groups, then drop the structure for anyone who'd like to keep chatting. Prefer to connect over an activity? We'll bring tabletop games too.

What to expect:

• A warm welcome and a name tag at check-in
• Speed friending rounds in small groups, so you meet plenty of new people without the pressure
• Optional tabletop games for those who'd rather chat over an activity
• Food trucks, an arcade room and a few bars at the venue
• Access to a private WhatsApp group for this event if you book before Thursday 19 November. Open from the day before until the day after, so you can say hi, find someone to walk in with, or exchange details afterwards

Coming on your own? Most people do. That's exactly who this is designed for, and friends are always welcome too. Our aim is that you leave feeling more connected than when you arrived.

Who is this for: LGBT+ adults of all ages (18+) who'd like to make new friends.

Your host, Ben, is a friendly mental health professional who's passionate about creating safer spaces in our community.
