Come and empower yourself with the skills and knowledge to troubleshoot and fix problems on your bike when you're out and about.

Don’t get caught out with a flat tyre on your way to work or school. No more paying for taxis or walking your bike to the nearest bike shop. We’ll show you the easy way to get you going again.

We will show you how to:

• bicycle safety check – it’s as easy as ABC
• build your toolkit to care for your bike – it’s less than you think
• keep your bike clean and lubricated
• take your wheels and tyres on and off – the easy way
• fix a flat tyre – patch and change an inner tube
• check brake wear and function.

If time allows:

• introduction to cable systems – cable maintenance, issues and barrel adjusters
• brake adjustment – pad alignment
• tuning gears – limit adjustments, indexing.

What you need to bring: your bike and a rag.

Bookings required. Children 16 years and under need to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. 14 is the minimum age.
