Pornstar Supercar are bringing their ‘Clem Fandango’ single launch tour to the Gold Coast. The Brisbane alt-rock four-piece will be joined by The Fem Grems and Ratmongers as supports.

Hailing from Meanjin/Brisbane, Pornstar Supercar have quickly built a reputation as one of Queensland's most exciting emerging alternative rock bands. Blending the raw energy of '90s grunge with the urgency of modern alt-punk, the four-piece deliver soaring hooks, fuzz-soaked guitars and emotionally charged performances that hit just as hard live as they do on record.

Now the band return with Clem Fandango, a single with a story unlike any other in their catalogue so far. Guitarist Gerard first wrote the song's opening riff as a teenager in his hometown of Warwick. More than a decade later, he attempted to start a band called Clem Fandango with future Pornstar Supercar bassist Kat and another mate, inspired by their shared obsession with Matt Berry and his cult comedy character from Toast of London. While the project never eventuated, the riff refused to disappear.

Fresh off the release of their newest single, and after sharing stages across the past year with the likes of Luca Brasi, Sly Withers, Beddy Rays and Bad Neighbour, the band are taking the new single on the road for their first run of headline shows across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and their hometown of Brisbane.
