The King Kong International Grip Challenge is a multi-venue global grip sport contest where the same 4 events are performed worldwide and scores are combined, giving athletes a global ranking.
Ultra Fitness and Strength is happy to host a contest for grip athletes in Canberra and surrounding areas.
This event is open to all levels of experience.
Events will run on a rising bar format, allowing athletes to choose their opening weights and attempts.
Events:
2 3/8" Wrist Wrench – 6” Lift
1 5/8" Thumb Blaster – 6” Lift
Grab Ball – 6” Lift
Little Big Horn – 6” Lift

Men’s Masters 50+ Years: 93kg / 105kg / 105+kg
Men's Grand Masters 65+ Years: Open
Women: 57 kg / 63kg / 72kg / 84kg / 100kg / 100+kg
Women’s Masters 50+ Years: 72kg / 72+kg
Youth Divisions available from 7 to 17 years old.
Weigh-Ins:
Weigh-ins will open at 2.00pm on the day of the competition.
Prizes for the following categories will be arranged and posted by the King Kong organisers.
