AURA is for the nights when you want to go out, but you don't necessarily want the usual night out. A space built around good food, good music, shisha, conversation and good company, without the rush, crowds and pressure of a traditional club.

Located away from the hustle of the city in Reservoir, AURA is an intimate lounge experience designed for people who want somewhere they can arrive early, settle in and stay for the entire night.

The room

Low light. Deep seating. Tables that face each other. We've set it up so you can hear the person across from you, which sounds like a small thing until you've spent a night shouting over a speaker stack.

Set in the suburbs, deliberately. No CBD queue, no crush at the door, no scramble for a ride at 3am. Close to home, easy to get to, and with actual room to breathe.

The music

Live Afrobeats, Amapiano and R&B, running through the night. Loud enough to feel, low enough to talk over. The sound builds as the evening does. Early hours for settling in, later hours for when the room decides it wants to move.

The food

Shared plates, brought to the middle of the table. No separate bills, no one-each portions, no ceremony. You reach in, you pass things around, and somewhere between the first plate and the second round the table stops being a table of strangers.

The shisha

Running till late. Full menu at the lounge, service to your table.
