Why this night matters
"Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."
— Mother Teresa
Every day, ordinary people quietly change lives.
They may never make the news...
…but to the person whose life they touch, they change everything.
On Thursday, 17 September, WA Speakers Bureau invites you to an unforgettable evening of real stories that demonstrate the extraordinary impact of ordinary people choosing to serve.
Whether you're already volunteering, considering giving back, or simply looking for greater purpose, this event will challenge, inspire and encourage you to discover how your own small actions can create lasting change.
Presenting: SMALL ACTS . BIG IMPACT
Three inspiring stories proving anyone can change a life through service.
Featured Speakers & Keynotes
1️⃣ Tim Blackburn — "AMANI HOUSE" Empowering Community
Growing up as the son of a farmer, Tim Blackburn learned the values of hard work, perseverance and community from an early age. Those values have shaped a lifetime of leadership and service.
Today, Tim's passion extends beyond Australia as he works with Amani House in South Africa, empowering communities through compassion, connection and practical support.
Rather than asking what one person can achieve alone, Tim asks a more powerful question:
Plan it on Keen
Keen is how mates lock in plans: see who’s free, who’s keen, and actually make it happen.
