Celebrate the launch of the sixth (and final!) issue of Pelican Magazine for 2026 at Pigface Bookstore (143 Barrack St). We’ll be marking the occasion with readings from contributors. Doors open 4:30pm, event begins 5:00pm. Tickets are essential, as space is limited. Come by, grab a copy, listen to some great work, and browse Pigface Bookstore afterwards. We'd love to see you there!
Pelican Magazine is the editorially independent student magazine of the University of Western Australia. Written by students, published by students, read by students, we've been bringing you the scoop since 1930. Pelican Magazine is published on the unceded land of the Whadjuk Noongar people, the traditional custodians of this place. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
