Meet the Maker: Textiles brings together a curated group of Queensland textile makers for one evening at Vacant Assembly, work on display and available to purchase, with the makers themselves on hand to talk through their practice, process and materials.

This edition is entirely focused on textiles, spanning weaving, stitching, dyeing and beyond. Come and browse, chat with the makers, and take a piece home directly from the person who made it.

Who should attend?

Collectors, textile lovers, and anyone keen to buy directly from Queensland makers. Fellow makers are welcome too, it's a great chance to see peers' work and connect with the broader textile community.
