Digitising Legacy Photo, Film and Video Media

About

Digitising Legacy Photo, Film and Video Media

Historic photographs, film recordings and videotape collections are increasingly at risk as ageing media deteriorates and playback equipment becomes difficult to access. This presentation explores the technologies and workflows used to transfer legacy visual media into modern digital formats for long-term preservation and use. The presentation will also examine current approaches to colour restoration, image enhancement, frame rate conversion and AI-assisted stabilisation.
