Beyond the Mask: AuDHD & Neurodivergent Women Seminar 2026 is a one-day community education seminar presented by Women's Health & Wellbeing Services, building on the success of their 2023, 2024 & 2025 ADHD and Women Seminars. This seminar goes deeper; addressing the complex and often overlooked intersection of autism and ADHD (AuDHD) in women, a population that remains significantly underdiagnosed due to gender bias in diagnostic criteria and the masking behaviours women use to appear neurotypical.
The day will feature an expert speaker lineup covering some of the most pressing topics in neurodivergent women's health. Coach and author Dr Michele Toner OAM will explore Dopamine Seeking-Healthy vs Unhealthy, examining how to find the balance between routine and fun. Yvonne Kilpatrick from Amherst Psychology will discuss "Disentangling from Self-Doubt" and imposter syndrome. The team from The Kidd Clinic will cover Neurodivergent Burnout and Practical Tips & Strategies for the AuDHD Community and Natalee Blakemore & Dr Bethany Reynolds will present on how ADHD medication affects the daily functional life, sensory processing, and emotional regulation of women, particularly in relation to hormonal fluctuations.
The seminar is designed for three key audiences:
Plan it on Keen
Keen is how mates lock in plans: see who’s free, who’s keen, and actually make it happen.
