A Gershwin Gala Spectacular 2026 promises to be a dazzling musical event — a vibrant celebration of Gershwin’s iconic sound. Presented for one night only on the magnificent main stage of the Cairns Performing Arts Centre, this variety concert brings together an extraordinary lineup of local talent in a truly unforgettable showcase.
The award winning Cairns Choral Society Choir joining forces with the Gala Orchestra and the brass band champions Cairns Brass. Their combined sound will fill the theatre with rich harmonies and exhilarating energy. Adding visual magic, dancers from FNQ Dance Academy, Turning Pointe Dance Studios and Elevate Dance Company will take to the stage with captivating choreography that enhances every musical moment.
