Visit Montalto's winery and experience the winemaking process first-hand with this unique behind the scenes experience, hosted by our award-winning winemaking team.
The day begins with a personal tour of the winery that will bring to life our winemaking philosophy - what we do and why we do it, right here in the cool climate of the Mornington Peninsula grape growing region. Personally hosted by our winemaking team, taste our wines straight from the barrel and learn about the important changes taking place as the wines mature and develop over time.
Through this in-depth tasting and discussion, you'll learn the differences from vineyard to vineyard, as they individually reflect the winemaking quality, and why we are recognised as a "Red Five Star" Halliday rated winery.
After your behind the scenes winery experience, it's time for a generous lunch with matched wines. Our menus showcase a seasonal celebration of our estate-grown heirloom produce, alongside the very best locally sourced ingredients from across the Mornington Peninsula.
After lunch, we invite you to explore the Montalto Sculpture Trail. Before you leave, pick up your bottle of Montalto Single Vineyard wine to take home with you from The Cellar Door.
