Drawing on a lifelong passion for Australian history, folklore, and craftsmanship, Scott will take audiences on a fascinating journey through the creative process of designing and casting bronze sculptures. From initial concept sketches and historical research to foundry work and final installation, Scott will reveal the challenges and rewards of bringing stories from the past to life through sculpture, with a particular focus on commemorative and memorial works.
Following the presentation and audience Q&A, guests will enjoy an exclusive after-hours guided tour of the Anzac Memorial. This special tour will explore the Memorial's remarkable sculptural collection, offering unique insights into the artworks, symbolism, and stories embedded throughout the building.
Held on Wednesday 18 November 2026 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, this intimate evening experience includes light refreshments on arrival and provides a rare opportunity to engage with both a leading Australian sculptor and the Memorial's extraordinary artistic heritage.
