Zoo in Bloom

About

The National Zoo and Aquarium comes alive this spring with 'Zoo in Bloom', a completely free experience with any admission or membership.

The theme of 'Pollinators' will highlight the animals that play an integral role in pollination in their environment. Learn the secrets of lemurs, birds, and bugs!

Live floral arrangements, giant flower blooms, and interactive educational activities will be running through the entire Floriade period and the spring school holiday, as well as the Zoo's 'Festival of Fun Weekend'!

The National Zoo and Aquarium is a family-friendly outing for Canberrans and out-of-towners with one of Australia's most diverse collections of Native and exotic fauna, one of Australia's largest inland aquariums, exceptional discovery trails, thrilling tours and encounters, as well as Canberra's most unique playground.

Those looking to luxuriate in a wild night out should look no further than Jamala Wildlife Lodge, Canberra's most exotic all-inclusive experience. Enjoy Floriade in style with a night away offering 18 unique rooms, where you could lie next to a tiger, feed a giraffe right from your balcony, or wonder at the depths of a saltwater aquarium through a floor-to-ceiling window.

There's so much fun to be had at the National Zoo and Aquarium, Canberra's 'Centre of Adventure'.
