Two-time ARIA, ten-timeGolden Guitar, three-time AIR winning artist Fanny Lumsden's fifth studio album Traditions, is a heartfelt collection of songs that mark a deeply resonant shift in Lumsden's songwriting, resulting in her boldest face-first album yet. Recorded live with her band and producer Steven Schram at Soundpark Studios in Melbourne, it's a testament to the band's gigs and kms logged together from Country Halls to Glastonbury UK over the past few years.
From a western NSW sheep farm to some of the world's biggest stages, touring with artists like Paul Kelly and Lucinda Williams, award-winning artist, Fanny Lumsden has established herself as "one of the genre's most esteemed performers" (The Australian), combining heartfelt songwriting, humour and sharp observation with a live show renowned for its energy, generosity and connection.
