About

Create your own botanical-inspired prints in this linocut course.

Participants will explore the shapes and details of leaves, flowers and seed pods to develop a design. You will carve your design into a lino block and use it to print onto card and paper.

The course introduces basic block printing methods and encourages experimentation with texture and shape. By the end of the course, you will have a small series of prints and your own carved lino block to take home.

This course takes place on Tuesday evenings over two weeks:

  • Week 1: 13 October, 6pm to 8:30pm
  • Week 2: 20 October, 6pm to 8:30pm

What to expect
