About

Celebrate Children's Week with a free community event that recognises this year's theme: Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.

Enjoy sensory play, arts and crafts, a baby play space and ball play in a welcoming and inclusive outdoor setting.

Who should attend

Families with babies, toddlers and young children are encouraged to attend.

Everyone is welcome to join the celebration and share in the cultural diversity of our community. You are encouraged to wear cultural clothing to celebrate your heritage and traditions.

Children should remain the responsibility of their parent or carer at all times.

Benefits of attending

By attending, you can:

  • celebrate Children's Week with your family
  • explore different cultures and traditions
  • support children's rights and inclusion
  • connect with other local families
  • enjoy free, child-friendly activities in a relaxed outdoor environment.

What to expect

Children can enjoy a range of hands-on activities, including sensory play, arts and crafts, a dedicated baby play space and ball play.

The event is an opportunity for families to come together, celebrate cultural diversity and learn about children's rights in a fun and engaging way.
