Talks on Tuesdays is a live event series bringing big ideas, real experts, and curious minds together - at your favourite local venues. Think thought-provoking lectures, audience questions, and post-talk mingling over drinks and dinner.

We design our houses, gardens, holidays, and consume designed artefacts in great quantities. But can we apply design methods to create our future selves?

Experimenting, Learning, and Evaluating through Prototyping Experiences.

Your Speaker:

Greg Hearn is a Professor in the School of Design at QUT. His research examines social, business and future workforce issues in the adoption of innovation. He is Chief Investigator in the ARC Training Centre for Collaborative Robotics in Advanced Manufacturing. He teaches design strategy and leadership in QUT's Master of Design (Strategic Design).
