National circuit main-stays CONCRETE SURFERS have spent the last decade touring the country, selling out shows, supporting major artists and continuously releasing ever-more refined music.
Today, the band have announced their debut self-titled album will be released on the 7th of August. The announcement of the record comes with the news of the band’s return to the road for a large national tour throughout August.
CONCRETE SURFERS have been meticulously working on their debut record for the past few years. The album is a culmination of everything that makes CONCRETE SURFERS so loved. It’s full of punchy lyrics, driving guitars and the bands’ signature sound of raw punk.
“‘We spent a lot of time making sure the writing was spot on so we could rehearse as much as possible before going into the studio. Recording everything live in the room together really works for us and we wanted to make sure it was as tight as possible.”
Recorded with Colby Robertson in 2025, the band spent time away at Airlock Studios and on a farm at Swanpond Studios refining what has become their debut LP. Isolation from the city forged ideas that became some of the bands' most refined songs to date.
With teases of the record already released in Growing Pains, Fallout and You Said, audiences have been anticipating a full release from the band for some time. After over a decade of playing shows, this collection of songs represents a defining point in their career.
Plan it on Keen
Keen is how mates lock in plans: see who’s free, who’s keen, and actually make it happen.
