Ever wondered how roti gets that impossibly thin, flaky stretch? Come find out.
The Roti Masterclass is Kafe Kooks' fortnightly hands-on session with Suresh, our in-house Roti Master — the guy who's been flipping and stretching dough long before it was cool.
You'll get hands-on with the dough yourself and learn the technique behind proper roti canai. Then sit down to a separate 5-course Malaysian dinner cooked by the kitchen (you're learning the craft, not eating your own attempt).
Runs every second Thursday from 6pm at Kafe Kooks, 63 Mountain Street, Ultimo — Sydney's only dedicated roti café.
$95pp for the class and dinner, or $125pp with bottomless drinks.
Great for date nights, birthdays, or just a genuinely different night out.
