Your knowledgeable Kings Park Guides will lead you on an extended walk through the tracks in the Banksia woodlands of one of the biggest inner city parks in the world. There is much to see and learn along the way. Take in the beauty of some our unique and diverse flora, find out how plants survive the harsh environment and much more. This is a relaxing and enjoyable walk.

DETAILS

Date: Every Friday from 3 July to 30 October inclusive (single events)

Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm. Please meet 10 minutes before the start of the walk.

Meeting Location: At the Guided Walks sign - base of the steps outside the Visitor Information Centre.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Duration: Up to 3 hrs.

Distance: Approximately 6 km.

Difficulty: An easy walk although some paths are not sealed. A moderate level of fitness is required.

Accessibility: This walk is NOT suitable for wheelchairs, prams or mobility aids.

What to wear and bring: Sturdy enclosed walking shoes are recommended. Bring water, sunscreen, hat and water and a raincoat (weather dependent).

Weather: This walk will go ahead if it is raining but in the event of severe weather it may be cancelled. Check the notices section of the Kings Park website https://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/notices for cancellation information.

BOOKINGS: Tickets are $10 not refundable except if cancelled by Kings Park Guides.
