Machinations - 'Live is Precious' Tour 2027

About

Tired of your wayward algorithm? Sick of wading through AI slop? Remember what it was like to hear real musicians, with real sweat and real dance moves? Experience it all again when MACHINATIONS return to their favourite venue, The Bridge Hotel, Rozelle, in January 2027.

Since their 1981 first single, Average Inadequacy, released on Phantom Records, MACHINATIONS have had wide airplay and a loyal live following that includes die-hard fans from the 80s and a new generation of younger fans keen for the full live experience. Expect to hear 1983 hit Pressure Sway as well as crowd favourites No Say In It, My Hearts on Fire, You Got Me Going Again, and Execution of Love, plus so many more.

MACHINATIONS never ‘broke up’, but their line-up has changed over the years. Original frontman Freddie Loneragan and lead guitarist Tim Doyle are now joined by long-time friend and singer Kristy Trudgett, bass player Craig Hooper from The Reels, keyboard and synth maestro Larry Doyle (a second-generation Machination), and powerful new drummer Katherine Bray.

Don’t miss this chance to witness a band whose energy is still as fierce as ever, blending nostalgia with a thrilling live punch. MACHINATIONS promise a night where every song lifts your heart and lights up the dancefloor – a celebration of the music that made them unforgettable, proof that the spark never fades. Get your tix, bring your mates, and let the MACHINATIONS relentless groove remind you why Live is Precious.
