Three years ago, Sultry & Sample started with a rotating group of artists getting together to create and improvise.

In the early days we would be lucky to have 10 people in the room. But we kept showing up, and slowly so did everyone else.

From those first nights, to selling out Alcatraz week after week, to taking chances on new rooms and new ways of doing things, Sultry has never really been about a venue.

It’s about what happens when you put the right people in a room and leave enough space for something unexpected to happen.

Improvisation is vulnerable. There is no safety net, no second take, no perfecting it later. What you hear on the night is exactly what is being felt in that moment.

This is a space to be human. To create. To feel something real.

This time, we’re taking Sultry somewhere a little different... Lo-fi . More intimate. Less polish. More freedom.

A room that lets us get closer, get looser and blur the line between a live show and a club night.

And as always. No setlist. No rehearsal. Just musicians brought together on the night and trusted to create. Every moment made in real time. Every note unrepeatable.

Come early. Stay late. Dance. Listen. Let unfamiliar faces become familiar.

This one is a little lower down, a little darker, and a little less behaved.

What to Expect

Doors open at 7pm. The music starts shortly after and runs until 12am. This is a standing GA event. No assigned seating. Come ready to move.
