Make Mend Grow: Lino Printing Workshop (Advent-themed)
Join Sam and the Make Mend Grow team on October 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at St. Luke's Anglican Church as we learn the basics of Lino Printing and carve Advent-themed designs for this year's Advent Public Art Exhibition at St Luke's.
Using the tools provided all participants will have the option of picking a pre-designed image to carve or can sketch out their own design inspired by the Advent themes of HOPE, PEACE, JOY & LOVE and will leave with an art print of their carved design.
Following this Lino Printing workshop our team will select 4-5 final designs to both digitally render A1 Art Prints for installation on the outside walls of St Luke's Maylands and work together to hand-print at mass on Advent Prayer Booklets & limited edition Art Prints during our 2026 interactive Advent Public Art Exhibition from Sunday November 29th-December 25th.
We welcome you to join us at our Free November 7th 'Make Mend Grow' session to hand-print the final 4-5 lino cut designs with our team to be given out during our 2026 Advent Public Art Exhibition.
