Anovaty is a Newtown Alt metal supergroup featuring members of Bottom of the Damn,Blood Trails,Technical Simplicity, founded in Newtown in 2024 by their Guitarist/producer Mark, Anovaty has released 2 singles in 2026 and is releasing their debut EP ;'First Meeting' in Dec 2026,The band play original music and have written 30+ songs,They have recently performed at local venues and @ The King street Crawl Festival and got tongues wagging with their energetic live show,Musical Influences include,Mudvayne,The Butterfly Effect,Linkin Park,Faith No More,Sunk Loto + many other bands and genres of music.
Groundhog - Exclusively launching at Lazybones Lounge - Groundhog are a new high energy 4-piece rock band. Groundhog draw inspiration from the in the 90s/2000s alt-rock, britpop and punk scenes and deliver a killer mix of covers that will have you jumping about the dance floor yelling "I love that song, I haven't heard that for ages". Groundhog deliver a setlist with the punch of Blink-182 and Green Day to the swagger of Oasis and You Am I, plus a fine selection of one-hit-wonders; every song is hand-picked for maximum fun and zero filler.
