Put your engineering and problem-solving skills to the test at our exciting Lego Road-bots Workshop in the Community Shed!
In this action-packed 90-minute session, participants will design, build and test their own Lego Road-bots powered by steering and drive motors. Using a smartphone app, they will learn how to bring their creations to life and navigate a variety of driving challenges.
Guided by experienced instructors, participants will:
• construct their own motorised Lego Road-bot using specialist Lego components
• learn how steering and drive motors work together to control movement
• connect and operate their Road-bot using a smartphone app
• test, refine and race their creations through a series of fun driving activities and challenges
• explore key STEM concepts including engineering, technology, design and problem-solving through hands-on learning.
This workshop offers the perfect blend of creativity, innovation and holiday fun, encouraging participants to think critically, work collaboratively and discover the exciting world of robotics.
Bookings are essential as places are limited. Suitable for ages 8–12 years.
Parents and guardians are expected to remain on the premises at all times.
For any questions, please contact the Community Development Team Leader at [email protected] or 8269 5355.
