About

Bridge Queer Gathering presents a series of workshops by Shani Shafrir from Well Grown.

All the workshops in this series can be attended individually or come along to all 4 to experience an immersive journey of learning. Shani creates workshops that emphasise community connection and learning in a relaxed, welcoming and inclusive space.

Workshop 4: Seed Saving and Sharing Adundance
Seed saving has been part of human gardening traditions for millennia. It offers us an easy way to save money, save heirloom varieties and share abundance with our community. We will learn the importance of seed saving, cultural significance of culinary seeds and varieties and the basic rules of saving seeds at home. Session Includes seed envelope making, as a craft activity.

Participants will get to take home a seed envelope (with seeds) at the conclusion of the session.

This workshop runs for 2 hours, following which you are welcome to attend the community lunch run at Bridge Darebin, a gold coin donation gets you a two course meal and the chance to connect with other community members.
