Michael is among the world’s top thriller writers, having twice won the prestigious UK Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award for best crime novel. Michael's standalone thriller, The Secret She Keeps, has also been the basis of two BBC TV series.
MICHAEL ROBOTHAM’S FIRST EVER AUSTRALIAN SET NOVEL
The astonishing, emotional epic from Michael Robotham: a mystery, a coming-of-age tale and a love story wrapped into one, set against the simmering tensions of a small Australian town.
Tell Me Something True marks a landmark moment in Robotham’s career; it is his twentieth published novel and his first ever set in Australia. Inspired by the first manuscript he ever wrote, it is a powerful story of love, loss, heartbreak and murder set in a small Australian town. The novel follows Arlo Hackett, released after twelve years in prison, whose return home ignites long-held hostilities and unearths buried truths.
