Forget skipping the ads, Sydney is about to do nothing but watch them as the Alliance Française de Sydney brings the iconic French cult event to the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace.
Created in France 45 years ago, La Nuit de l'Advertising (internationally known as The Night of the Ad-Eaters) has become the unmissable rendez-vous for lovers of advertising cinema all over the world.
For one night only, let yourself be swept up in a giant wave of the best commercials from more than 45 countries: creative, aesthetic, moving, deliciously kitsch, and always funny! Turns out ads often offer great moments of cinema.
This isn't a quiet night at the movies. This first edition promises an epic, high-energy interactive cinema experience: laughs, gasps, applause and whistles as you're encouraged to loudly and proudly voice your opinion on every spot selected.
Three hours of fully subtitled screenings, with a live stage show intermission that turns the whole night into party mode. A few surprises are even lined up for the most ad-venturous!
