Join us for a relaxing day exploring the beautiful Toowoomba Japanese Gardens. Enjoy peaceful walking paths, stunning gardens, wildlife and great company in a calm, accessible environment. We'll take our time to explore, chat and enjoy a picnic lunch together.

Our Mobility Accessible Social Days are designed for participants who enjoy relaxed outings in welcoming, accessible environments. The Toowoomba Japanese Gardens offer wheelchair-friendly pathways, tranquil scenery and plenty of opportunities to unwind while spending time with friends. Whether you're enjoying the beautiful gardens, spotting local wildlife or simply relaxing with the group, this is the perfect day to slow down and enjoy nature at your own pace.

NDIS Costs

NDIS Support Rate: $73.58 per hour

Billing Example:

• Activity Time: 5 hours
• Non-face-to-face administration: 1 hour
• Total billable time: 6 hours

Calculation:

6 hours × $73.58 = $441.48

With the minimum group size of 3 participants, the approximate shared NDIS support cost is:

$441.48 ÷ 3 = approximately $147.16 per participant

(Support costs reduce as more participants attend.)

Please note: Participants requiring 1:1 support will have this support billed separately.

Out-of-Pocket Costs

None.

Participants simply need to bring their own lunch and drinks to enjoy during our picnic at the gardens.
