Experience history where it happened
Discover the stories of Peninsula Farm at Wu-rut Woorat, one of the first farms established in the Swan River Colony.
You'll get an activity booklet to complete as you explore the house and grounds to learn about what's changed, and what's remained over time.
There'll also be crafts so you can make something to take home with you and a variety of old-fashioned games for the whole family to enjoy.
This a special opportunity for the family to experience Peninsula Farm at Wu-rut Woorat outside of its normal open days.
Weather permitting, we recommend packing a picnic if you wish to stay longer and make the most of the picturesque riverside location.
All ages are of course welcome, but please note, activities are aimed at primary-school aged children (5 to 12 years).
How to book
General admission fees apply. Choose your preferred ticket types from the options available. You are welcome to arrive any time from 10 am. Last entry is at 1 pm. Please allow about an hour to enjoy all of the activities on offer.
Important note
Due to City of Bayswater riverside works currently in progress, there may be machinery in operation and fences blocking access to some parts of the grounds. Please pay attention to safety barriers and signs.
The nearby Peninsula Farm Cafe will be open. We recommend making a booking if you wish to enjoy morning tea or lunch after your visit. Refer to their website for details.
