THE TOFF IN TOWN, MELBOURNE · Melbourne
Event Infomoshtix.com.auAbout
This time we’re dragging a bit of Northern NSW talent down to Naarm, raiding the local garage scene and giving the dancefloor absolutely no chance of behaving itself.
Leading the charge is Jai Taylor, making his Is That Garage? debut with a FULL 2 HOUR SET.
At just 20, Jai has been cooking up music since the age of 12, building a seriously deep catalogue across UKG, House, Bass House, Tech House, Techno and Drum & Bass. After years of club gigs and residencies across the East Coast, plus shows with Taste Club, Byron DnB, Cyber & Catalyst, Revolve, Earth Frequency and more, he’s already built the kind of experience most DJs would quite like to have by 30.
Two hours of Jai means plenty of room to get weird. Expect garage, bass, big energy and a few left turns along the way. Lovely stuff.
Next up, Sarah Armstrong.
Irish-born and Melbourne-based, Sarah is a self-described genre-fluid selector with a serious love for deep grooves, euphoric drops and high-energy tracks. Her sets pull from 90s House, UKG, Acid, Hard House and Trance, stitching old-school nostalgia into new-school dancefloor pressure.
She’s also supported a fairly ridiculous list of internationals including Carl Cox, Hot Since 82, Franky Rizardo, Darius Syrossian, Alan Fitzpatrick, Richy Ahmed and Max Dean. So yeah, she knows her way around a dancefloor.
Then we’re getting the wax out.
BIJ makes his ITG solo debut with a VINYL ONLY GARAGE SET. Co-founder of Spinreal Records, producer and selector across House, Garage and…
