About

Flowering plants dominate our landscapes, relying on birds, bees, insects and sometimes humans to transfer pollen. Some plants depend on highly specialised pollinators, raising challenges when they are moved to new locations or grown in large single-species crops. Join us to observe active pollinators in the garden and explore solutions to pollination challenges in agriculture. Requirements: Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Location: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre.
