Experience the joy of spring in the Southern Highlands with family and friends at Golden Vale Homestead, a grand and historic sandstone home surrounded by charming English-style gardens.
Wander the grounds, lounge on the lush grass in the beautiful walled garden or shade yourself under the old oak trees grown from acorns taken from the Windsor Great Park in England.
Explore the 1870s homestead (gold coin donation), discover the historic shearing sheds and enjoy traditional acoustic music – the perfect backdrop for lawn games.
Visitors can pack a picnic or enjoy tea, coffee, cake and sausage sandwiches, available for purchase on the day.
Hosted in the height of spring in stunning surrounds, Golden Vale’s picnic day is a delightful way to spend a day with loved ones.
