In this session four self-published Sisters in Crime South Australia members will discuss their books, the writing process and self-publishing.

A presentation on books by Diane Hester, Dorothy Shorne, H.R. Kemp and Samantha Battams will be followed by a panel discussion on writing and self-publishing, where the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions. This will be followed by refreshments.

Sisters in Crime is a national network that brings together women crime writers, screen-writers, producers, booksellers, publishers, lawyers, judges, police, forensic specialists, librarians, academics, and critics but in the main, readers and viewers of true crime and crime fiction.

Authors will be selling copies of their books at this event.

Artist Bio - Diane Hester

Diane Hester's debut thriller, Run To Me, short-listed in the U.S. Daphne du Maurier Awards and made Goodreads list of Best Mystery Suspense Books of 2013. She has since published 7 additional thrillers. Before commencing a career in writing, Diane was a professional violinist. Born in New York, she secured a position in the Adelaide Symphony in 1978 and has lived in Australia ever since. Her latest book is ‘The Fortress of Us.’
