Information Session with Beekeeper Shayne Starkey - Batemans Bay Library

About

We’re thrilled to welcome Shayne Starkey, Biosecurity Officer with the Amateur Eurobodalla Beekeepers Club. With her wealth of knowledge, Shayne will guide you through what life in the hive looks like - queen spotting and jobs in the hive. From pollination and the flowers they adore, to swarming behaviour, stings, and practical ways you can help protect bee habitats in your own community.

Whether you're curious about the science, eager to support local biodiversity, or dreaming of producing your own honey for fun or profit, this is the place you need to bee.

Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.

Cost: free
