In this course, participants will be guided through each step of the wheel throwing process.
Beginning with how to prepare the clay for wheel throwing, lifting the clay & manipulating to make shapes. Finally, refining the pieces by trimming and glazing.
This course is designed for the complete beginner although if you already have some experience we can build on your existing skills. Participants can anticipate making a range of objects for example bowls, cups and plates. All works are dishwasher, microwave & food safe.
Class numbers are capped at 6 students, enabling us to guide you through all the processes.
Your works are stoneware fired at the end of the cycle and are available within two weeks.
The cost of this course includes all your materials, tools & firing.
