MONKEY SAFARI X SOL Y SOMBRA
Sunday's at MAYA Mexican
To celebrate the October Long Weekend, Sol Y Sombra returns for its biggest edition yet, with internationally acclaimed duo Monkey Safari going long with a four-hour rooftop set.
German duo Monkey Safari have spent over a decade shaping melodic and organic house. Founders of Hommage and Good Vibes from Paradise, they’ve released on Anjunadeep, Get Physical and Joris Voorn’s Spectrum, with remixes for RÜFÜS DU SOL, Moby and Booka Shade. Their warm, melodic sound has taken them from Awakenings to some of the world’s most respected clubs, making them the perfect soundtrack to take the rooftop into the night.
From long lunches and rooftop cocktails to dinner and late-night dancing, Sol Y Sombra evolves with the day. Start with our exclusive Sol Set Menu and signature Sombra cocktail before DJs set the tone from 3pm. As golden hour arrives, our Ritual Show marks the shift from Sol to Sombra with fire, music and tequila.
As night falls, Monkey Safari take over the rooftop for a special four-hour headline set, bringing world-class electronic music to one of Brisbane’s biggest Long Weekend celebrations.
