MAHICO PRESENTS: RODRIGO GALLARDO (CHL)

About

After an extended hiatus, Mahico returns to Sydney, bringing a taste of the Northern Rivers to Marrickville for an intimate night celebrating Latin American culture, world music and organic electronic sounds.

Headlining the night is Rodrigo Gallardo (Chile), returning to Australia for the first time in three years. A Chilean composer, multi-instrumentalist and former co-founder of the pioneering electronic folk project Matanza, Rodrigo's captivating live performances blend charango, Andean flutes, guitars and vocals with deep electronic rhythms, creating an immersive journey through ancestral traditions and contemporary sound.

Joining Rodrigo is fellow Chilean artist Gabzac, performing a special live set, alongside two of Sydney's most celebrated selectors, Sir Bolivar and Foxy Fuzz, with Mahico co-founder XUJA rounding out the lineup.

Hosted inside the newly opened Heaps Normal Health Club in the heart of Marrickville, this intimate venue provides the perfect setting for our community to reconnect over world-class music, great food and good company. Radio Taco will be serving up their signature Mexican street food throughout the evening, creating a warm and welcoming space to gather before, during and after the music.
