as the Newcastle Medieval Festival returns to the foreshore for a weekend of merchants, re-enactment, combat, artisans and loads more. Enjoy re-enactment encampments showcasing unique medieval living history, live cannon fire

and bewildering swordplay demonstrations

in the main arena. A variety of tasty food and merchant stalls will be on offer, providing a wide range of fun and indulgence for the whole family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Join us for two full days of brave knights 🐎

from across our fair realm battling it out in the BUHURT arena for the internationally recognised Newcastle BUHURT Cup 🏆⚔️. We encourage everyone to dress up for the occasion 👑🧙‍♀️while not compulsory, it adds to the excitement and atmosphere enjoyed by all! We love seeing the creative outfits our visitors come up with and want everyone to enjoy the experience and have as much fun as possible ✨.
