Walk the river. Fund the research.

Join us for Walk4ALife, a 10km charity walk around the scenic Perth river foreshore. Organised by BunningsSausageSizzle (Team 3) from Kennedy Baptist College, this event supports our Write A Book In A Day team. 100% of registration fees and donations go directly to The Kids' Cancer Project to fund vital research into childhood cancer.

Whether you complete the full 10km loop or take advantage of our halfway exit options, every step you take helps make a difference for kids in hospital!

Key Details & Logistics

• Date: Sunday, 1 November 2026
• Location: Elizabeth Quay, Perth (Start & Finish)
• Registration Fee: $20 (All entry funds go straight to the fundraising total)
• Registration Deadline: 30 September 2026
• Distance: 10km (Sealed, flat footpaths)

Route & Flexibility

The route is a flat, 10km loop along sealed footpaths with scenic river views:

• Elizabeth Quay (Start)
• Langley Park
• Point Fraser
• McCallum Park
• South Perth Playground (Halfway Stop / Pick-up available at Carpark SPE11 / Ferry option from South Perth Jetty)
• Mill Point Reserve (Final pick-up point before crossing the Narrows)
• Elizabeth Quay (Finish)

You do not have to walk the full 10km—you are welcome to call it a day or catch the ferry back from the South Perth exit point!
