The SmartFone Flick Fest (SF3) returns for its 12th season, bigger, bolder, and more inspiring than ever! As one of the world’s premier smartphone film festivals, SF3 champions creativity, accessibility and innovation, proving that all you need to make a movie is a smartphone and a story. With over $50,000 in prizes, it’s the ultimate celebration of mobile filmmaking.

• Saturday Oct 31st 7pm-10:30pm at the White Bay Power Station, Rozelle - SF3 Mini & Feature Film Screening presented with Event spec - discover the world’s best Mini Films and a curated selection of our favourite shorts. Then we move on to the SF3 Feature Film Selection, Three Chapters a film that defies description from award winning filmmaker, James Demitri. This one has to be experienced on the big screen. From powerful bite-sized stories to ambitious full-length masterpieces, all shot entirely on smartphones, this session is where creativity knows no limits and is the best way to spend Halloween.
• Sunday Nov 1st 10:15am-12:15pm at The Playhouse at the Sydney Opera House- SF3 Kids Screening and Awards Ceremony - a heartwarming showcase of the best smartphone films made by filmmakers 18 and under from across the globe. Featuring both high school and primary school filmmakers, this screening is pure inspiration for the next generation of storytellers, with our youngest filmmaker just 5 years old.
