Join Frogs Victoria and the Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary for a family-friendly event celebrating frogs at the beginning of the September school holidays.

Explore the sanctuary and wetlands, take part in frog-themed activities, and learn more about frogs and their habitats.

Who should attend

This event is designed mainly for children aged 9 to 12 years and their families. Parents, carers, younger siblings and older siblings are also welcome. Adult supervision is required at all times.

Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary is a true wildlife sanctuary, so all animals are wild and free to move around.

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, although they are likely.

What to bring

  • Weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Closed-toe shoes or boots.
  • A raincoat if rain is forecast.

The event may be cancelled in extreme weather, such as high winds or heavy rainfall. Participants will be contacted directly if this occurs.
