Brooch Club #5: Documentation & Photography

As we approach the exhibition phase, this final session focuses on preparing your work for presentation.

We’ll look at simple, effective ways to document your pieces - considering photography, lighting, and how your work is communicated visually in readiness for exhibition and promotion.

This session will include:

• Guidance on photographing jewellery using accessible setups
• Tips for lighting, backgrounds, and capturing detail
• Discussion around documenting process and concept
• Time to review and refine how your work is presented

Bring along your finished or near-finished pieces, along with any devices (phone or camera) you’d like to use for documentation.

This session is about bringing everything together - ensuring your work is clearly and confidently presented as it moves toward exhibition.

As with all Brooch Club meets, this is a peer-focused event - ideal for jewellers with an existing practice.

Each Brooch Club meet is hosted in multiple locations (at the same time) - choose the best location for you. All meets are hosted via this Eventbrite profile - register to secure your spot.

Brooch Club is an initiative to bring our jewellery community together, supported by local Creative Spaces and JMGA NSW.
