The cyanotype is a camera-less photographic printing process that produces a distinctive, blue-toned image.
Learn how to print a rich blue cyanotype image directly onto light sensitive paper using the sun, a hand-built lightbox, and a subject. Experiment with different textures, negatives, found objects and textiles to create unique blueprints.
In this four-week series, Deanna will take you through examples, techniques and experimentations of cyanotype photographs in a welcoming and beginner-friendly environment. All levels welcome, no prior experience necessary.
New techniques will be covered each session. Full attendance is encouraged, but not required.
